rebecca was a former runway model. so after she got there, they interviewed my partner, and said, so what did u think about rebecca, a former runway model what did u think, does she look like a "model"??? and her comment was, well yeah, but i think she also looks like a pole dancer, it was supposed to be funny and cut and pasted so it sounded so bad.
No we dont at all think she looks like a pole dancer, she was the sweetest girl. We had a blast with her, they cut out alot of stuff we did with her, like we brought in a sushi lunch for her, we took her to a kick boxing class. we hung out in salon inside and out and laughed our asses off. but unfortunatley- they dont show that - they show minimal stuff, and this is what they came up with. they have to add drama and negativity cause if it was all sweet and giggles, then no one would have anything to talk about.

LOL....and on your down time you talk about hair....go figure...it is a sickness isn't it.....I can't get on my computer without seeing what's new and if anyone has posted new pics and new info.
Forgive me for not knowing...but do you have extensions in and what method and what brand if you do.

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

on style network, they have the Cafe, you can click on two different boxes and see scenes that werent show on the episode, one is with rebecca getting a ride from my husband on his harley, the other is some of when she got to wear a bathing suit and go to our party.
actually we still DO have the maniquin, we moved her near the bathroom door, and we dress her in different outfits for each holiday. i have a sign on her stating who she is etc. we love her. i totally loved rebecca. she was a great gal, after the initiated drama, we got along superbly. we still call each other every few weeks and i am actually planning a trip out there this spring.

I thought Rebecca was awsome. She handled herself really well.
I also thought Charise was adorable!!
It's great that you have the health of the client's hair as your main concern.

Great Show! I think both stylists did an awesome job!!! Charise has a great deal of talent..I didn't even know what a mullet looked like...so I couldn't tell the difference.
I don't think you came across bad...you were quite nice compared to some of the episodes that I have seen...
Awww thanks girls. yeah i was nervous on how i would come across. but yeah i was pleased. yeah charise i thought did great, she is such a doll. i love her. she is an awesome stylist and person.
yeah i loved her comment, hot sexy bitches.!!!
we had a premiere party at my friends house, there was about 30 of us watching the show and having fun, we laughed and laughed and replayed the show like 10 times.
it was fun and i would do it again in a heart beat!
it really looked a lot of fun and i loved how they showed you hovering like a shark over her sandy lol ( i know that was the added drama !)
i dont know why there is a resurgence of interest in the mullet in NY, down here in south carolina there are people that have never stopped wearing mullets for the past twenty years, it is NOT something that should be in style again
i loved getting to see you, your salon and fun coworkers and you are just beautiful sandy!

Just got done watching the show I loved it! I dont think you have to worry about the way you came across. We can all understand that when a client is uncomfortable or upset sometimes you need to intervene. Clearly both stylists Rebecca anc Charisse are talented and skilled, im sure finding drama for that episode must have been a challenge for the producers.
Your salon looks fab, and your co-workers look like a a lot of fun! Being a stylist I know its important to create a positive work enviornment and Tangles looks like its a good place. And though Im no longer in California, you , your staff, make us Cali girls proud!
