Hey Gina, by EVOO Im assuming you mean extra virgin olive oil. Do I just put it in a spray bottle and spritz it on? and do I spritz it on wet hair or dry? Someone at worked suggested ironing my hair and my daughter has a straight iron so Im going to try that tonight I think. Would I put the EVOO on before I iron it?

Thanks

Maybe a spray down of EVOO will help. And oilsheen spray when it's dried.
You may want to use a curling or straight iron to seal(what's left of) the cuticle.
Sometimes just blowdrying alone can leave the hair harsh...this is true of even natural hair

Unhappy Thats what I was afraid of Sherrie. I guess Ill just wear it in a braid, it makes a nice long fat braid and I really hate to take it out.

Thanks.

so sorry to hear Em. I used the Dena Cali several years ago. It actually held up for over 8 weeks. I cant say it wore like remy hair. But it was manageable for that period of time.

Blowdrying *shouldnt* cause that kind of problems, And if youve already tried several products there may not be much hope.

Ok so I must have gotten a bad batch because I washed it once and its turned into a Brillo pad. And it only bunches up by my ears.

Ive tried numerous sprays and creams and it still bunches up.

I washed it again last night and put a ton of conditioner on it and let it sit for about 10 minutes, rinsed, finger combed and blow dried and it still bunches up.

I always blow dry my hair, thats the one common demoniator, and this always happenswith my extensions so Im wondering if its the blow drying? I use the medium warm setting. I dont use hot.

Any ideas? I love this color and the length and Id hate to take it out but I dont have time to brush my hair every 5 minutes.

Yeah...I've used it, and do you it when in a bind. It's not too bad. I've gottem some good batches and some bad. The hair hasabout a 4-6 week lifespan.
Never tried Epson...but I have been known to use a sea salt solution to try and recreate "beachy" hair.

I did use Deni Cali bodywave several years ago that held up very well considering it was BSS hair.

Ok, the BSS hair from my last install went to crap after a week so I took it out.

I went to Colorado Springs (36 miles from me) and spent the day touring hair places. I found a hair supply store and I got 2 packs of 24 inch color #33 hair by Dena Cali. Its gorgeous hair and I paid $70 per pack which I didnt think was bad considering its 24 inches. I installed it yesterday with tape. Its doing well.

Does anyone here have experience with Dena Cali? I had never heard of it before.

I also had a crazy idea that I was wondering if anyone out there had tried?

We have very hard water in Pueblo. I put Epsom salts in my bath water. I was thinking of mixing some Epsom salt with water and putting it in a spray bottle and spraying my hair after I wash it. Kind of a leave in conditioner. Epsom salts are a natural softening agent. Im going to try it tonght but if anyone else has tried it let me know.
