I would let it grow out.Since it's darker with red in it.U won't get it back to med. ash brown.U would have to use bleach to get that color lighter & I wouldn't do it.Bleach is really harsh for your hair.Don't ruin your long hair.

So... Heres the sitch. I have been dying my hair darker (dark brown with slight red tone)than my natural shade of medium ash brown. I really want to go back to my natural color. I recently went to the salon to get my roots done to a slightly darker shade of my original color so that it would blen with the grow out that I had going. Unfortuantely. They dyed it a red red brown. So i went back in to have them fix it and now it is a dark brown with slight red undetones again. (slightly darker than I had originally dyed it) what is the best way to get back to my natural color. should I just wait and let it grow out or is there something that I can do to lighten it so that the grow out is not so obvious. I wish that I would have just dyed it myself. I never have any issues that way. Oh well lesson learned. Please help. I am okay leaving it the way that it is for now but in about 4 weeks I would like to do something to make it easier to go back to my regular color.
