loveshorthair reported it in May 2006. I remember being very disappointed with the news.

Mea Culpa!  Before you read on--this is old news, apparently.  I searched the forum but didn't find the earlier post--sorry!  (First reply goes to the original post by loveshorthair.)  I did find a good pic of the bob, though.

What I thought was news:

I caught a snatch of an interview of former American Idol star Kellie Pickler on CMT, and it looked as though she had her hair bobbed.  Say it ain't so, Joe!

In recent months, she has been wearing it mid-back, most notably in her "Red High Heels" video, link at

This must  have been extensions.   She apparently had it bobbed before the Idol finale in June of last year (unless that was a wig):

Note that the length varies quite a bit in several of these photos, from not much below her shoulders to well below mid-back, supporting my supposition that it is extensions.

I've always thought that the blonde in "Red High Heels"  was a little too blonde--IMO, she'd look better with a little darker and more subdued shade.  But the long is definitely better than the bob!
