Oh! I see, then the colorist should have no problem giving you what you want...bring her/him a picture of what you want and that will really help them a lot to achieve the look you want.

I'd use a cap and pull several small strands through. Apply BLEACH and process until it's the honey color that you want. You may need to use a toner to get the color just right. Stay away from single process color, it won't lift you to caramel, rather brassy orange.
STRAND TEST to determine the timing to leave the bleach on. Also, when applying bleach to the strands pulled through the cap, be very careful to not "smash" the bleach into the cap, because it will "bleed" creating splotches, that look like circles, on the hair. Not cool at all.

so i want to get higlights in my hair but i have spikey hair. i want the look that when its spiked theres not to much of the new colour but rnough that you can notice. it. i was recently thinking of growing my hair but i have decided not to. below is a picture of me showing the way my hair usually is
so what colour should i geT? i deifnantly dont want a light blonde but maybe like a honey kind of colour that looks kind of blonde and brown or a caramel type colour? any help is great. thanks :)
