oh Lord yes.....feathered......we all did that in the 80's (and sometimes i can tend to do it now, my hair was trained to fall in that style for SO many years!)

i have long bangs that are cut straight across.....if i part my hair in the middle and drag a comb straight back=feathered

Oh dear lord!  It's feathered hair. 

There is a really really easy way to get that hair style on your own.  I used to do it in the 80s.  Take all your hair and put it in a ponytail right on your forehead.  Then, pull the rubber band out about 4 inches from your head and cut off the ponytail at the rubber band.  It creates a perfectly layered feathered style.  

Seriously.

And Eddie just entered rehab.  I don't think he has wings anymore.

if there's a term for it, i wouldn't know, anyway it seems many musicians have this kind of hair. the person is eddie van halen btw.
