I agree with Pennie also.U for sure don't wanna go black all at once.Other thing u need to know. That if u want black hair.U don't have to dye it black.U can dye it dark brown.Because hair color is atleast 1 or 2 shades darker anyway. It would really fake if u used black color.Be careful with it.I'd go to a salon & let them do lowlights or just tell them what u want & get it colored a pretty chocalete brown. That's a very pretty dark brown. This is what I'd do.Just don't go black!!!

Hi,

I agree with pennie. You should colour your hair gradually as you said your hair is quite porous, but still looks in good condition. I would advice you use semi-permanent colours to start off with and gradually build the colour up, example, go a light brown first, then after 2 weeks go a medium to dark brown, then if you still like the darker colour, then you could apply the black. You did say you would use a colourfil first, which you defo need to do to put back the red tones that the bleach has striped from your hair. I would strongly advice you use semi colours until you acheive your desired colour. 1) It will cause less damage to your hair. 2) Allow you to gradually get use to your new darker colour. I hope this answers a few questions for you, best of luck.Smile

Hi!

I would gradually do this with low lights. I tell you I have done this before (darkened all at once with a tint-back) and found myself sorry I did because it did look quite goth.

We have a similar look as I am part asian and can actually get away with very dark hair and look exotic however when you do a tint back it never looks natural even if yo are naturally a brunette.

I would at the very least aim for a color that is a couple shades ligher than you are ultimately aiming for. The loss of the light blonde gives your face will be something you will want to do gradually because it might be shocking.

You are beautiful and almost anything you do will look good. The color you have right now is beautiful and  what I am trying to take my platinum to so maybe you have suggestions for me?

I would like to dye my bleached blonde hair natural black(1b) or black brown, otherwise known as a tint back.

My natural color is level 2-darkest brown, and has been lifted to a level 8-light golden blonde.

Can anyone recommend a suitable dye that i can use?
I bought Colorful protein filler in red red and plan to apply this first, then layer with the dye.
Currently my hair is super porous but still quite healthy looking. I'm concerned the results will be matte and goth looking.

All advice and recs appreciated.
This is my current color:

And the color i would like to be:
