Well, each has it's advantages- between human hair and synth.
The reason I am talking about elite thermo is becuase it really is the most human hair-like of the synths I have tried- and long lasting.
It is hard with synth to get a good color match- being as you cannot dye the hair or anything. But if you use a color blend or blend two colors yourself (by layer one weft over the other when you install) you can sometimes get away with not having an EXACT match to your hair color. It is easier to do that if you blend a few colors together.
Each hair vendor/manufacturer does have slight differences in color. a "#4" form one vender may be slightly lighter or more reddish, for example, than a "#4" form another vendor.
You could ask for samples or a color ring....
I hope I've helped. Perhaps someone else will have more suggestions for you as well.
There is plenty of hair out there that does last more then a few weeks. Remy human hair (if it truely is REMY cuticle correct) and good synths like thermofiber or plastikhaar.
hey diva vocals, did u hear me say i am selling lace front wig????
I asked if she had considered them and if i were selling i wont ask her to google it, i gave her an ebay link so she could see what one looks like....
If u aint got anything positive to say please dont respond to my messages
Wow.. Nothing POSITIVE to say huh?? That's rich coming from you.. Well let's see sweetie if I can help you out.. You asked "did u hear me say i am selling lace front wig????" YES sweetie.. I certainly did.. You mention it on your FIRST post on this forum as a matter of fact.. Let me refresh your memory.. (you've apparently forgotten you posted this..)
Has anyone thought about getting a lace front wig? I am a Middlesex UK, based hair dresser. i recommend that all Extention wearers google 'lace front wigs' let me know what you think. I supply them and im happy to answer any of your questions. I also sell weaves, clip on extentions and even the 60 second weaves. Visit my ebay linkbelow
Now correct me if I'm wrong.. but isn't this the SAME E-Bay sale you referred to when suggesting a lacefront wig in THIS thread?? Or perhaps am I just not saying anything positive here.. Because I'm POSITIVE that you posted this link twice, and I'm POSITIVE that you stated you were selling these wigs.. So I'm POSISTIVE that you are breaking the forum rules.. Is that POSITIVELY clear enough for you???
ETA: and I am POSITIVE that you are have been suspended for blatant advertising...

I'm not sure to be honest which ever is better and something that will last longer than a few weeks. I'm not sure what my colour match would be either on the site
Do you know what weft is best to use? Mine tends to tangle alot and shed loads, I'm also from the uk and not sure where to buy from or how much I'd need
Like I said above, the elite thermo on shrinkies.net is the best synth. hair I've used. The weft is a machine weft- but very small and discreet. It does not have a shedding issue, as I recall.
Do you still want to use synth. hair? Or human hair?

Sammie: Clip ins are good- but that site does not tell you how much hair you receive with the set. You will probably need at least 5-6 oz. if you have thick hair, in order to acheive natural blending. When my hair was shorter and thick, I had to wear nearly 8oz when I installed 22" length.
Are you familar with adhesive tapes? aka Protac, Protape, Proflex tape? There are many "how to" instructions posted on this site and on hairextensions101.com forum. They are an easy to do yourself and long lasting method of installation.
If you have thick hair and want to add a lot of length, you will probably need at least 6 oz-- probably more.
Elite Thermofiber (www.shrinkies.net) is suberb synthetic hair, if you want to keep using synthetic. She also provides the adhesive tapes I mentioned above, and she has a great instructions page showing how to apply the extensions with the tapes.

Your blatant advertisement is unwanted.. For the record..
Lacefront wigs aren't for everyone.. But if YOU really want more information on them you should check out Black Hair Media's lacefront section.. Much more information there.. (BTW, if you go advertising over on BHM.. be prepared to be resoundly bounced on your arse.. much like you will be here if this is all you came to do..)

My hair is quite thick and was wondering if that would be enough hair also is there a good way to get your hair cut to make the extensions look better.
