Once the hair is no longer secured with a weft, can you remove the whole thing and still be able to use the hair, or does it just shed out when your removing? Sherrie, when you remove with acetone, where do you apply the acetone?
Wow Mrs Wozzy! What a great idea. I think I migh give this a try next time because I really am not too crazy about the feeling of the big pieces, although I have learned to live with it for long hair! hee hee

I will be taking mine out, so I will give you my feedback on that next week
I dont think they will come apart removing with acetone. When I remove my tapes with acetone the entire piece comes out intact. Wefts still inside tape. What I would have to do to save this hair would be to apply new tape right below the old and cut the old off. SO I would lose a little bit, but my tape is only 1/4 inch wide so I woudnt lose much. But I havent actually removed these 'makeshift seamless' yet. So Ill let ya know what happens. I also only used this for my top side row on each side. SO its really not much to lose if they do come apart on removal.
No idea about the saving part because it's my first time. I am using Elite Thermo and at the really cheap price it's not an issue if I can't. For those of you using really expensive stuff, I'm just not sure, someone should do a demo of how to save this for a new install. :)
Great job mrswozzy!! Yep, they are super flat. Ive had mine in for almost 7 weeks. I only use them for my crown and the only thing that I do different is use them in 4 inch peices because I dont think tiny ones would hold long in my crown.
Bear with me, I've never done a demo before, if you have more questions feel free to ask, okay here we go:
Unroll a length of tape (protac, prostick etc.) I did a really long one for my install about 16 inches.
Next put your hair over the tape with the weft just over the top so it's not stuck to tape Heres the front view
Heres what it should look like if you flip it over
Use your fingers to press the hair to the tape. Then goop on the LG, you only need to do the bottom half of the taped part, but I used a good amount.
Then lay your next color (if you're using one) over the LG and hair with this weft also above the tape and the other weft.
Use something like a straw or skewer (LOL) (I used some of the tape backing) to mix the glue with the new hair.
Then take another piece of your tape the same lenght as the first tape and lay it over the whole thing (match up to first tape)
LET DRY!!! It didn't seem to take very long for this step.
Then cut the tape in half lengthwise, cutting off the weft.
Then you can cut this into as big or small pieces as you need
Peel off one side to stick to your hair, then pull off the other side and lay a layer of hair over that, I promise, you cannot see them, let the wind blow, pull it back whatever, they are totally invisible!!!
Thanks for looking, any questions just ask!!
PS These are super thin, you can't even tell you're wearing them.
