I would suggest caramel highlights as well as a few dark red too (to bring out your green eyes). this will give loadsa texture to your hair and will add a bit of spice without going to dramatic. i would say tho choose a dark red as they do fade and i actually think that darker plumier reds look really classy... or: go with the same colors but have your stylist section off a section underneath your hair like a banana shape from your ear diaganol to the back of your head, a sleek triangle underneath your parting to feather the color onto your face! this gives a really funky, stunning effect and there is no need for touch-ups! perfect for low maintenence!

I think you would have a choice of a few colours, blonde hilights , red, or carmel hilights would suit your colour, it would also help break up the depth of the medium brown. However if you opt for the red be warned it is very hight to maintain, red as it fades pretty quick.
