you'd probably have a lot of success using diluted fabric conditioner to be honest hun, seen as though its plastic hair, not real hair, it wont absorb conditioners made for real hair at all, so fabric conditioner should work very well ( just not on your own hair)
Oh my install is actually a sort of home made cross between extensions and an integration (though comercial integrations i have seen have lots of small holds - i prefer a few big holes) you can see what I did at:
advantages are that it gives me long layers on top, and takes after I made it about 20 mins if that to install. I can come home from work and change my hair over fully before I go out :)
It's beautiful, Great install. I brush mine before I wash and I do a deep condition on the length and ends and rinse, since I just squeeze everything through, theres not many knots. Then when I get out I brush through it again, pretty easy, then do my silicone and styling. I usually only straighten it when it starts to get frizzy at the ends, otherwise I just keep it curled. Remeber if the ends get really bad, trim it a little and straighten it and you'll have new hair again. :)
i washed it then put in silicone and straightened and it loolks much better now
will see how it goes over the next few days, but maybe i just need to persevere with this hair...
I do like how it stays put when you straighten/curl it - so i hope i can get this stuff to work, I like to change my extensions often (but not have to every week!) and like that when you tie up synthetic, it doesnt get that hair tie kink in it when you take it out, etc so i really hope i can get these to work for me. have enough left to try a second install anyway.
I did buy a brush yesterday with the dots on the end but this was after
I posted that question - I spose those brushes are bad? It did
seem to help though with the tangles
I also got two silicone products an aerosol spray and a leave in
conditioner both with silicones, and they also seenm to have helped
with the straightening
I usually wear my hair curly - should I straighten then curl or just curl?
also I was going to straighten after I wash it tonight while its
wet. but I shouldnt comb it when wet so how do i make sure its
all untangled before i put the straightener through it?
another question - some ppl say their thermo is better with heated
tools, others say it wears out - should I straighten as much as
possible, or avoice tongs/straighteners as much as possible???
See if you can apply some silicone leave in and straighten it out, see if that brings it back to life. It should definetly last longer than 2 days. I've only used Elite thermo so not sure of this hair but seems you should be able to get much more wear out of it.

Oh dear...I'm so sorry for your experience. I had EXACTLY the same experience with the elite thermofiber. Others here have had wonderful experiences with it, but mine looked AWFUL after only 3 days. I eventually just took them down and installed human hair. Sorry, I wish I had some suggestions for you...I tried all kinds of things, but no luck. It was a terrible experience!
What am i doing wrong - i have had futura evantra thermofibre in for 2
days and its already starting to bunch up, and look all shagged and
frizzy on the ends. My workmate commented today that it 'already
looks kinda tangled and frizzy doenst it'
Is it just crap hair or am I doing something wrong
according to the pack its made of 'heat resistant kanekalon' are the
thermofibres often mentioned here like the wawa and elite made of the
same stuff? I had monofibre (dome) in a couple of years ago - but
only short extensions - however they lasted 7 mths
Ibe been as gentle as possible when combing it - havent even washed it
yet, and curled as per peoples advice - even if its not the greatest
hair surely I should get more than a few days out of it??/
help - anyone got any suggestions on products or things I can try to make it look at bit better?
