It looks like a level 10 extra light blonde. Have a look at Goldwell swatch chart or Wella's colour chart here:http://www.wellausa.com/consumer/products_consumer/international_line_consumer/koleston_perfect/swatch_charts/nature_h2.jsp

Goldwell only has a limited few colours online to look at the  10GKgold copper looks pretty.

I have ditched the block blonde due to allergy but would have anyway was getting too frequent I get foils now every 6 to 7 weeks & am still blonde.

Don't try to do that at home, bc you may not get the result you are looking for. Remember, you are looking at a picture that has probably been digitally-enhanced and it's probably not even the "real" color anyway.  Have you thought about the regrowth and keeping up with the roots?

Go for a color consultation and try at least two good salons and be sure it's with the resident "colorist" or expert. Even at that, some salons may pass off a person who is learning as more knowledgeable than they really are. That happened to me and I'm pretty ticked about it. I did get a refund, but the color I'm left with is not satisfactory - nor do I trust her to go back again.

Just choose wisely and remember you need to keep up the roots and that costs money or may be a hassle to match perfectly at home.

I wouldn't call that platinum at all, but that's just me -- not that it's not a pretty color. It looks like a light, buttery blonde.

Try going for a blonde tint no bleaching.

Brit's hair is brassy at the roots in that pic I love blonde but not the misery of brassiness that usually comes with it.
'Good Luck.

well they bleached MINE twice, but how many times depends on your hair. altogether it was $145, so pretty expensive. so as for doing it yourself, i have no friggin' idea how. but if you end up going to a salon, that's about what you can expect!

good luck

are you going to a salon or doing it yourself?

i recently went platinum and i love it. since it was my first time, i went to a salon. it was bleached, then bleached again, then toned. it was really ashy for a few days, but it calmed down. the process took a long time, but it was worth it!

everyone says don't do it, don't go platinum, but i say if you think your hair can handle it then go for it! mine feels and looks just as healthy as it was beforehand. and it's way fun
