The wella toners are best mixed 2:1 so 1 oz of toner to 2 oz of developer.

For hair that is too yellow, I use Shades EQ Platinum Ice to tone it. It comes out very nice, but you have to watch it closely or it may go gray.

yeah you would use 20 vol. developer and mix 2oz of it with 2oz (which is the whole bottle) of toner. if you want to test a strand just mix a tsp. of each together.

hiya yeh i use the silver shampoo on my own hair to 'clean the colour up' but i dont think it would be anywhere near enough on the extension hair. i went to sallys today and the woman showed me a loreal toner but then she said i would have to buy a bottle of peroxide as well.
is that the case with the clairol and wella toners?
i dont know how good i would be at mixing the colours

i have really platinum hair, and use Clairol Born blonde toners which are really gentle, youll want to use one with a purple or blue base to counteract the yellow, also wella toners are nice too...just be careful not too leave them on too long, otherwise it can turn the hair a greyish color...i would test a small strand first to see how long you need to leave it on..also u could try purple shampoo i use use one by loreal from Sally Beauty...

my 613 delux is far too yellow for my blond highlights which are platinum. what do you reccomend for toning the warm tones out?
