I totally agree. Some auburn tones do go well with certain skin tones. In general, however, I really prefer auburn over brown. Perhaps some computer experimentation would be in order before making your mind up.

What is your skin tone? Some red/auburn tones do not work well with certain skin tones. You could place the hair swatch on your skin and see how it looks. For just preference, I prefer the auburn color between the two.

hi!i have dark brown hair&gray-blue eyes. my hair is all warm toned and nice shiny & thick. should i go with a brown rinse or a nice auburn rinse?
