That's the great thing about these eyelashes... you really can just add a few and it does make a huge difference. Or you can do a modified full set... or go totally over the top with lots of long ones. I'm always playing around with different looks. It's so much fun!
this is going to sound lazy, but i only added two flares on the outer corner of each eye and that already made a difference! i may go back and add more later, but it is a bit frustrating at first

Thank you, Young Whippersnapper! Laughing... My Swedish grandmother had the most amazing skin, even when she was in her 90s. I'm hoping I've got her skin genes...

Why thank you! I got fortunate in the genetics roulette, especially in the skin department. Now with great hair and eyelashes, I really do feel like I can pull off a seriously younger look. (I have a grandson that is two and a granddaughter on the way!)

Thanks for the ideas, Tangles... that's how my brain has been working since this afternoon. Exactly what you are describing! I will get in touch to bounce some ideas off of you.
And yep, I've heard of your son's shop. I think one of my clients had her tongue done there. Small world, huh?
i would think if u are doing it at home or someone elses home, and as a diyer servc, then you might get around the licsense thing. you could charge a flat fee, and also supplies- you would sell the supplies. i have great marketing ideas, pm me!
the tattoo shop my son is at is called
all hallows ink
he is one of the piercers there- his name is ZAK-
hes really good- he did a few of my ear piercings in one ear( i have 9 all together in one ear) and of course all filled with diamonds!!!

It really was easier and quicker. I think I did my daughter's in about 15 minutes. She just laid on the sofa and I sat beside her and did one lash after the other.
BTW - here's my eye porn There's no liner or mascara on my eye.
I just used short and medium flares.

Oh, that's really interesting to know, Monsterita! I've been having friends ask me to do it for them and I've been a little nervous thinking it would be harder. I've even had women approach me at the mall and ask about it. Tangles got me thinking of how great it would be to offer a service to give women a lesson (maybe even in their own home) in how to apply the eyelash extensions. There could be a flat fee that would include basic supplies... I already know about 10 people who would sign up. I just wonder if this requires a professional license in California, if you're just helping another DIYer rather than putting the lashes on them yourself?
I'm so jealous of you guys! I was there last June. It's so beautiful. I applied for a job in Northern CA just to get closer, but it didn't turn out to be a place I'd want to work.
BTW - I did the lashes on my daughter and it was much easier than doing it on myself.
