I'm guessing because you dyed over bleached hair is the reason why the black faded (cuz mine stuck like glue)
You could certainly TRY to remove the color with colorfix...but it may very well look orange, and you may not even get to a blonde color without bleaching as well. (I had to bleach mine twice to get out all the black)
I guess if it turns orange you could try a dark ash blonde.

Before dyed black hair I had a bleached medium blonde hair. Last January I dyed my hair black using Loreal Colorgems, which is a demi-permanent color. Ever since this color had faded from black to dark brown. I noticed some of blonde hair peeking through in spots. I was wondering if I could use Colorfix to remove the color. Then bleach several inches of regrowth, the mid part and then roots last. Then tone with Wella Color Charm Imperial Beige T35. I don't want a pale blond shade, just a medium to dark blonde and bleach only to gold stage before using this toner. My hair is healthy (regrowth) with dry ends but I will get a trim anyway. Would this work?
