If they have a matte sheen and are just as strong as the colored ones they would be great. If they dry shiny or glossy that would be worse.

Im hoping so but havent tried them yet, i find the clear sticks better as you can use them on all colours of hair and they will blend well.

Are the clear sticks keratin also? Are they just as strong as the black sticks?

Thats amms site isnt it? I have ordered some to try out, i got the clear ones though has anyone tried those ones?  the coloured ones are great but i find that i get alot of wastage changing the colours over from a blond client to brunette having to push the glue through, got some clear on the way now and am curious to the little finger protectors too i usually use a silicone pad so got some of those as well! ahh love to shop

Sorry for the late reply, I don't wear them for over 6 weeks just because my bonds would be showing. I suppose 8 weeks would be my max time before reinstalling.

They don't soften at all or feel gummy.

HTH!

I've used a lot of different keratin bonds, my favorite are sold at www.shrinkies.net. They are in a stick form and are sold in blond, brown, and black.
They don't seem to oxidize (turn white) or get sticky or soft. (Of course if you don't get any conditioner on them!) Really good hold, but a little harder to get out on removal.

Thanks for the tip, do these types hold up well over 3 months? do you have much maintenance to do in the meantime? do the bonds still feel hard on removal? sorry for all the questions!

Hey gang long time no see! Im still working hard and the fusion method is as popular as ever but Im looking for some tougher glue , Ive been using one i love but the supplier has gone out of business and i cant re order so have gone back to my old one which is fine but the bonds can still go tacky after 7 or 8 weeks (not everyones of course if aftercare advise is followed!) any ideas on some strong stuff?
