Well we all know I'm an augenmerk convert and also the microrings are too bulky they hurt.  I currently do trumpets on the weft.  www.augenmerk.ch  the colors are right on the money but you'll have to contact her if you want wefted.  Trumpets on the weft is what I use I also sew my own wefts.  A demo should be on the board.   You have to use a serum on the augen to keep it soft and non tangling.  I put the trumpets under the weft.  PM me if you'd like anymore details.  Other option would be shrinks...they are nice.

I used to have synthetic hair all the time when I bleached my hair, it was perfect! You could bleach your roots and not worry about damaging the hair!
I had mine done by Boogiemama, the heatseal method, and it worked out really nicely, I think the first couple times I saw her she used Prostyles hair (I think) and I was sooooooooooooooooooo nice. I don't know how easy that is to get, but it was perfect, it seriously didn't tangle.

PH tangles, (except not so bad for the wavy Powerlon IMHO)
Wawa REALLY tangles, (BAD)
Doc Locs stuff is too shiny (but well priced for cool highlights)
I think she either used Dome or Prostyles, but it was so nice, I think she switched to something different though...

Oh and I've used micro-links on my bleached hair,
I did have some fall out at the roots (with the white "bulb"s LOL)
If you do mirco-links you'll NEED silicone lined, and good luck getting some that match bleached hair, unless she's not platinum, I couldnt find white-ish ones...
After seeing these fall out at the roots (the whole strands and micro-link still attached) I switched to wefts, and didn't have that problem anymore.

With synthetic, you can use bulk hair and it dosent' need to be pre-tipped, but you can pre-tip if its preferred.

I'm not sure if regular micro rings would be a good method on bleach damaged hair, some people have experienced damage from the rings because their hair is damaged. Personally I didn't have this problem, but my hair is in really good shape and I only use 10vol when I dye it. I'm sure one of the other blondes on the forum will chime in with better info. There are also now trumpet tubes, which are similar to the rings in method, but slightly longer and with a flared tip, so more hair can be used.

If her hair is thick, it might be a little tricky to get the thickness with mircorings, or any type of individual. PH also does custom wefts (but not on their North American website, only on the main one) and you can make any sort of specifcations you like for it - length, multiple color blends, color patterns, curly straight or wavy.      You could use liquid gold glue or any type of tape for isntsalling wefts - its really easy to do, though sorta a pain to remove because its sticky. But its something she'd be able to do for herself if she needs a touch-up compared to individuals, which I can say from experience are really hard to do on your own.

ugh, yet another question from me..

bear with me on this one though... alright so my stepsister is tired of getting her extensions sewn in she finds it completely irritating and not to mention she has a sensitive scalp so it REALLY irritates her when she has them installed. She also prefers to wear synthetic hair over human hair (she just finds it disgusting Tongue). Her hair is sort of pretty fried though, because she bleachs it every other month so any individual strand method that she gets would have to be one that does the LEAST amount of damage to her natural hair. So she nagged on me to find a method that would work good for her, my idea? Microrings... I've done a lot of research so far on them and i know everything i need to do etc. But i'm not sure on what hair to use on her, my friend recomended plastikhaar but is it suitable for a microlink installation? If it is can would we use the bulk hair? Or does the hair need to be pre-tipped? because i've noticed that on the tutorial i was looking at that the hair wasn't tipped with anything...

OH, and her hair is sort of pretty thick.. so i'm also not sure how microrings would work for her... could someone offer some advice please?
