It'll be funny if he grows his hair out and automatically has waves. But yea, its funny cuz the wave cap slides off of head when he makes sudden moves (like when we're playin basketball)

There's one dude at my University that wears a stocking cap and he's bald! Me an my boys make fun of him everytime we see him. As a matter of fact, Arvis Mitchell (the bartender from Comic View) came to do stand up comedy and was makin fun of him with no mercy (cuz he was talkin while he was tellin a joke). And it was even funnier cuz the dude was in the 2nd row and the technician put the spotlight on him!! lol
Damn ya guys at ya university is mean yo crakin on the nicca cause he bald.
Naw! They cracking on the guy because he's bald with a stocking cap on. What's the purpose?

Ya du rags have gone from hair styling to more of just a fashion product. Now that I think of it you see very few people that have du rags on that actually got some waves
That's why I don't wear hats. Plus I don't like wearing hats. But I love to sport my waves. It's kind of silly to spend all that time brushing, then you wear du rags all the time. Cash is an exception though. And that's only because he spends so much time wolfin', that he needs to cover that hair up.
Cash, you still a pretty boy though, for matching your du rag with your jerseys.

ROFL...the only time i wear a du rag to match my jerseys are when i'm wearing a fitted on top. I do this because even though i could be wolfin, some teachers ask me 2 take my hat off in class so when i do, my waves will be laid down by the du rag.

]I guess it's because the du rag's match their outfits.
That never made sense to me who coordinates their durag to match their outfit. LAME, I hate when dudes wear durags without waves thats just as bad as Michael Jackson molesting kids.

When I see a guy with no waves: I'm thinking why walk around with no waves, and a du rag on? The only thing you get from this is the line in the back, and a line in your forehead. But then again, I guess it's because the du rag's match their outfits.

i laugh at n****s wearin durags without a wave on their head. One day i was walkin into class and my professor was sayin that he's tired of guys wearin em as a style (in reference to me). So stood there and took mine off and he was like "wow, ummm..in that case nevermind." lol
That's the best way to shut someone up. I had my du rag on before and some dude was like why people be wearing du rag with no waves? This guy only had waves on top. So you know I had to take off my du rag like man you ain't even on my level.
dat sound liek sumetin i would do davo...but i hate whne ppl do dat, where a du-rag with no waves!!!!!!!!

When I had my white du-rag on, my grandmother told me I looked like a sheba/shiba. I don't know how you spell it, but she was reffering to those men in Iraq wearing those white things over their head and face.

Some people think that the waves created by a conk was the foundation for the origination of 360 waves. Conks lost popularity during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's. During this time, many African-Americans abandoned the conk and leaned toward more natural hairstyles, like the afro. It is thought that some African-Americans reproduced the wavy look of the conk by brushing their hair in various direction, while still using the durag to perserve the look. This is one theory about the origination/history/roots of 360 waves.
I always thought durags came from people of Arab decent, because there always wearing scarfs on their heads. But thats for religious reasons not style.
