your back looks aight and the top is lookin' ok but i have to remember you have straight hair and youve been at it for 5 months so thats pretty good. Brush like crazy and do wut chrisdog said to do since you two's hair is very much alike

but brush ur hair with a soft brush and itll straighten them out sooner or later fam
try going a litle bit longer without cutting ur hair
but when u go tthe barber dont get it cut to low at all forreal
try getting a trim instead of a cut
and just ask him to cut a little bit off
and keep asking him to cut a little bit more off until u like
then ask him aproximately what size guard that would be
just brush with a soft brush for right now
and errything will go good
keep me updated on ur progress also

im back for a little more info. its been about 5 weeks since i started and i did not get a cut yet. so when can i get a cut and how low should i go? also the little progress i made, they are all over the place.  how do i get them to go in the right direction so i can get that 360 look. here are some pics to show where im at so far....
