Not a preference by any stretch, but I think the haircut looks very good on her. And I never liked her short cuts at all before this one! Blessings, Bob

While I agree that the longer look - shoulder skimming cut - was better, the short bob doesn't look bad. Her bangs are perfect though!! Don't you remember how she looked without bangs?
LOL! That was several hairstylists ago. And she did give me bangs, just not THOSE bangs. Now its a family joke whenever we see someone with bangs like that, we say "No bangs! I will not do them!"

Congratulations, Christina. You are officially five years old.
And to HopeB: This is the second story I've heard recently about a stylist who refused to give their client the bangs they asked for. As a fan of bangs, and of giving the customer what they want (you are, after all, the one paying) I'm wondering why the stylist thought she had the right to simply refuse a request from you. Did she say why? Did you try some modified version instead? Do you still go to her? Just wondering....
Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE!
Kramer---Louise Brooks! You have to give Lulu the credit for making that style the epitome of retro rebelliousness. It's a very strong, classic look that appeals to, and I would agree, looks good on a small number of women---usually women with unusual personalities and a quirky sense of style like Christina Ricci. It fits her. Winona Ryder pulled it off in a fashion shoot in the 90s, so did Natalie Portman in Vogue a few years ago. On someone more mainstream, like Jennifer Aniston, it wouldn't work.....then again, Paris Hilton looked the best (i.e. least trashy/skanky) she's ever looked in a similar style during her short-lived engagment to "Mr. Paris." And don't forget Catherine Zeta Jones in Chicago.
Funny story: Years ago, I wanted the Louise Brooks bob with the full, straight bangs. My hairstylist, who was from Latin America, refused to cut them: "No bangs," she said, "I will not do them!" So, I've never gotten that haircut, even though I wanted to!

I don't think it looks too bad... Definitely more 'cute' than 'sexy' though. It looks like the pictures are from a news conference for the Speed Racer movie, where she's apparently playing Trixie, who, if I recall correctly, had that hairstyle in the cartoon. So in that regard, I'll give her kudos for actually getting the cut rather than wigging it.
