Your hair doesnt have to be very long to be braided. Whenever I'd get my hair braided when it was permed they'd wash it and blow dry it. They did the same with my natural hair so I guess it wont make a difference really. I'd avoid getting your hair chemically relaxed at all costs though, so if you dont have to dont do it.

Alright i want to get braids and i was wondering how long ur hair has to be and another question is which way is easier to get cornrows getting my hair relaxed so it becomes long or in an afro
