Is there any way to FAKE having bleached hair?

It's doing pretty good.  I just kinda let it grow. I cut a few inches off the bottom because it was all split but now it looks good. It's just thin because I had a large row of breakage undernearth that has grown A LOT but hasn't made it down to reach the rest of my hair. There is no way I would ever bleach it again. I just miss the bleached look.

Bleach can be tricky.  The ammonia in it makes it swell during processing, so even though you think  you didn't overlap, it may swell up and cause  overlapping.

3/4 wigs look sort of like hats in a way and its basically that some of your own hair is integrated with it when you put it on. Meaning its not a full wig. But they usually sit further back on the head if that makes sense. At least the one I tried was like that. Here are some pics of them

When i was bleaching my hair (years ago) I deep conditioned at least once a week, sometimes twice. That helped a little but I can tell you my hair did not always feel so nice and it did get dry and brittle over time so i quit it. Im a medium dark brunette anyway so it was just a bad idea to keep that up. What you can do is just your roots and that will help. stay away from those porous ends and get regular trims. This will help the shine and feel.

Or have you considered hair extensions? You could bleach your roots and top hair to get a good match and then get longer, fuller extension hair to match? You may like extensions so much that you decide to stick with a color closer to your natural but have more of it! You might find it is a great solution and balances out price wise when you add up all those visits to the salon for bleaching and trims. Just something to consider.
