if you have longer hair try rollers then take your hair shake it around and spray it a little it will be a curly mess from you shagging it around.

Hi,
 
I'm new to the world of Hair styling, so I'm wondering how I would get kind of hair that is in this picture:

I have thick straight-ish hair, and I'm wondering how to get the messy wavy/curly (I'm honestly not sure which adjective I should useConfused) hair in the picture. I've watched some videos with people using curling irons, and that those seem to be used for more find curly hair whereas I'm looking for this messy kind of curly hair.
 
Any advice, suggestions, or tips that any of you may have you be greatly appriciated Smile I'm new to the world of hair styling please forgive my ignorance. Thank you!!!
