my hair WAS fried, had to get some cut off...i used neutral protein filler like it said on the bottle to use as a live-active protein conditioner, then rinsed and put that schwarzkuph bc rescue shampoo on then the rescue conditioner...i don't think i will have to get anymore cut....nursie, which product in the aphogee smelled bad?  a lady from our church has been cosmo for 60 years and told me that when hair is parched and all that it needs protein and moisture.

i have used the aphogee protein reconstructor and moisture treatment with really good results: much silkier smoother hair.....but i have known some other people that say they didnt notice one bit of difference

when i used it (last year every 6 weeks) it was on bleached/fried hair....i think maybe if your hair isnt trashed its hard to notice the difference it makes

and the smell is pretty bad, but nothing like perms were in the 80's when the smell from the hair salon would knock you out from the other end of the mall

hey eve....i bet bryan is right about that redken butter....i used the most amazing shampoo in THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!  it is schwarzkoph bc and it is in this huge container and the conditioner is same size and got it for 15.00....never NEVER have i used a product and had such a dramatic difference in one application!!  i think someone already mentioned to you about the loreal deep conditioning in the tub like container....it IS good and it smells wonderful but more so, it's a great conditioner.

i didn't really love the all soft heavy cream for my damaged bleached hair. there were far too many silicones in it, and my hair just reacted badly. if you want to try a really great smoothing moisturizing treatment, i highly recommend Redken Smooth Down Butter Treat. that stuff is my go to conditioner whenever my hair gets that damaged rough feeling. the treatment (you have to leave it on for 15 mins like the tube says) makes your hair super silky and smooth. and because of the avocado oil, it makes it super soft and moisturized. i usually use it about once a week!
learn to love what you were born with
you can do anything if you set your mindto it (just dont try this with hair, that could turn out bad)

i don't remember seeing it at my local sally's i might have over looked it (i walked in with a 10 to try and keep my self from straying  from what my whole mission wasLOL) i will have to pop in and give it a go.

as for the whole hard water thing unfortunately don't have the $$ at the time but we are looking into alternatives my boyfriend is tired of hearing me complain about scrubing the tub lol.

an i never really used panten before i always used Main an Tail ( i really like the stuff)  but it just wasn't helping with my hair at this time, so my couisn gave me a bottle and swears by it , well after a while it caused alot of damage and breakage (dubbed ' the bird's nest effect')  and your right it did smell good and it was nice and thick.   but i will definitely try the k-pac out and let ya know how it went

That's great.  It does wonders for damaged, chemically treated hair.

i havent' used aphogee, but i've heard good things about it.

recently I picked up l'oreal nature's theraphy deep conditioning and its works great! smells good too. its a huge tub for like $13 bucks to so its a great price. i've heard it compared to bonacure resuce repair treatment which is definately top of the line conditioning.

Heya,  I used Aphogee before but used the real protien treatment, it's the one that you use every 6 weeks. Anyway, it's great it practically "healed" my once badly damaged hair (my hair was mushy when wet) but after using the aphogee it got stronger. If you are going to use this one make sure you have a good deep moisturizing conditioner to use after because when you use this it make you hair brick hard.
