Hi, Hairbraider, I thought you would have an idea!
thank you,I wll look. I actually have a set of both the sticks, and a fork. I wish the fork was a bit longer though. I only know how to do the basic bun with the sticks, so I will need to learn.
I was helping with a sports camp my church was putting on, and needed it up so I just put it in a french braid. I haven't done that in quite some time because it usually gives me a head ache. It did this time, but not for a few hours. I think that its because when it was cut last fall, the gal took a razor to it from the shoulders down. (I hated that thing!) So know it is not as thick as it normally is. It felt like she took it all off!
Anyway, thank you for the tip, I will use it alot.
Click on the "how-to" section in the left column on my site for a list of links that have detailed instructions and pictures. Maybe you'll find something you can use.
Your hair is thick and coarse, hairsticks should work well. Get yourself a cheap but sturdy pair and play around with them. Don't get discouraged, it takes practice to make it look good and stay put! Hair forks are great too. I wish they were more readily available like hairsticks.
I need some help with some up do ideas. With the weather getting hotter, I need to put it up more, and am getting bored with just twisting it and clipping it in place with a jaw clip. Any ideas or links would be greatly appreciated.
