It really seems to vary from person to person and also how you are aging is a factor. Keeping healthy and trim greatly effects your looks and how you age. I know I have seen younger women who are overweight and they look older than me! Also sun exposure is a big one as far as causing wrinkles. Just minimize the fat in the diet and stay out of heavy duty sun and you will see improvement in your skin guaranteed. Hair also I think

There is a lady that lives across from me. The first time I met her, my very first thought was "oh she has had plastic surgery to look younger". She is in her 50's trying to look in early 40's late 30's. BIG lips, face lift etc. Her hair is actually the only thing that really keeps her looking young - Her hair is nice ,thick, just past her shoulders etc.
i am a biker chick getting ready to turn 50!!! i get compliments all the time on how i look younger then my age- i used to beleive the old wives tale of over 30 go shorter with hair until i started growing my hair longer and wearing and doing extensions. its the whole package, the hair, face, make-up and most of all the confidence, it all goes together. if someone likes how they look, they carry themselves with confidence and the world knows it!
i do not like butt length hair on much older ladies, but to mid back and up is awesome. and yes biker men, love long hair!!! mine does!
People tend to stick with styles that they've gotten many compliments on or from a time when they felt was their cutest or hottest even if it was 30 years ago.
I have an aunt like that. She's almost 70 and think she's still sexy. She's always been skanky but now when she wears make up she looks like she was mugged by a clown, a very angry, violent clown. There's nothing sadder on earth than an old hoe

Just take a look at Katie Holmes' new hairchop! I recently saw a pic with a caption ridiculing that she's ready for the retirement home. I don't know her exact age, but when she had her long locks, she looked early to mid 20's to me.
The hairchop, in my opinion, aged her. Worse, it's not flattering on her at all! Is it to match Tom's hair, or his age???

I agree with you guys. Once your face starts to really age, butt-length hair just isn't flattering. There are so many pretty, shoulder-length styles now that look great on women with older skin and features and still allow one to avoid old-lady-helmet-hair.
For me its really depends on the person. But again I do not think a 65yr old should have buttlong hair.
Some women think they look good w/what they have or do not want to change because they are scared to leave what they have always known. You see it on those makeover shows. But once they see the change majority love it.
Thinking about extentions myself again

I think men in general very often like long hair but most like it well kept and clean and shiny and touchable. Long hair that is nasty and dirty is less desireable then nice short hair. At least a guy I was dating at one point explained it that way.
I am " a biker chick" it is true not many have hair extensions, or that I know of anyway. Biker men do prefer women with log hair, but there are alot with short or shoulder length hair.

I know one thing though, she bleaches her hair within a millimeter of it's life and teases the crap out of it and don't EVEN get me started on the amount of hairspray she fills the ozone with .
What I reaaaallly want to know is are the ta-tas real. I'm waiting for her to tip right over and fall flat on her face, well not flat, with those tig o' bitties
