Embarrassed  Doh!  You're right.  I was so distracted by the pretty red hair that I totally missed that!  I can't help with places to buy the hair unless you end up in Columbus, OH - Cowtown USA!

I hope you find some beautiful hair, and you'll have to post pics!  Tongue

My favorite is Elim Beauty supply. 4623 N Broadway St Chicago, IL 60640

I mean there are tons really all over the place, but of the ones I've been to, this one is the largest, with a wide variety of hair, at good prices. Most shops in Chicago have primarily synthetic hair, which is why I end up going to Elim so much, because they have a good selection of human hair as well as synth. Plus, the people working there are always really great!

The only drawback is it's not in a...great area...it's not horrible either. More like a buffer zone, so it might be a little bit concerning if you aren't from around here.

Looking for stores to buy hair or somewhere to get your hair done? (er your sister's)?

I know of some good shops in Chicago, so if you want to know that, let me know what areas she is staying near.

Rae is in Chicago and Boogiemama is in Seattle, isn't she?  I know Rae could do the above looks - especially with synthetic.

I love, love, love the red!  I wish I could pull it off.

I'm doing extensions on my sister this fall, and she's gonna be in the US this July, so we thought she might as well look at some hair "over there", while she's there. She's gonna visit Chicago, Seattle and Phoenix. The only store I know of by heart in those areas is Doc Locks, so I would appreciate some tips. :)

We're mainly looking for remy weft hair, but we haven't decided the method just yet, so we're open to other sorts of hair too, but preferably remy hair, and it has to be wavy (or curly).

This is what we're aiming for (the pics are mostly of synthetic hair and I am not in any way, shape or form responsible for those extensions, so I am NOT taking any credit for it):

(not as pink as this one, tho, but the texture is wonderful)

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)
