I would wait, you have done a lot to your hair and it needs a
break....during the waiting time, condition, condition,
condition. Maybe you can wear it up while it begins to build back
strenght.
I wouldn't do anything "chemical" to it at this moment, that's my
unprofessional opinion, perhaps others will post with more wisdom.
All the best.

Help!!! My hairdresser gave me a perm on 06/06/07. My hair also needed coloring as I have a lot of grey hair. She said she should give me the perm first (since perming sometimes lightens your hair) then wait two weeks before coloring it. I actually waited until 06/29/07 before coloring my hair myself (since it was less expensive to do it myself than go to the salon). The issue is that I think my hair looks fried and I no longer like the perm. My question is......could I use a straightener kit purchased at Wal-Mart to straighten my hair or should I wait? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
