I regularly use the silicone micro ring with the 2.6mm diameter in my salon.  It fits most i-tip hair.

I love the silcone microrings.  I have had them in several clients with extremely damaged hair and it really causes little to no damage.  It's becoming my more preferred method.

Thank you ladies! I'm planning on purchasing both the hair and the silicone microlinks from your hair shop. It said that the links have an opening of 2.5mm so I don't know if that leaves me any options for buying pretipped hair that would fit. I'd really love to use the dlux tips...

The silicone lining in the rings wont hurt your hair, if anything it will help protect it. If using regular unlined microrings. Use a smooth pair of pliers to install, an opener tool to reopen the rings properly and dont reuse the rings. (never move them up and retighten) always install new rings.

Depending on what size you use, they should fit. I believe for the d-lux stick tips I used basic 3.0 mm size. I used the "regular" ones from drlocks, not silicone lined. So I'm sure you can use those, D-Lux was pretty small tips when I used it last.

Silicone lined are actually supposed to be good for protecting hair, I loved them when I tried them, although I never really noticed a strong difference between the regulars and sillicone ones.

Hi ladies,
I joined this board about over a year ago and got a lot of great advice on hair extensions. I've had them out for about a year now and needless to say I'm ready for them again! I'm looking ot use the D Lux stick hair and was wondering if they tips will fit into the silicone lined microlinks? I'm so nervous that I'm going to buy them and they'll be too big! Also, will the silicone afect my hair? I have very fine hair and I'm nervous that it will ruin it?

Thank you!
