I use to have alot of products when I was new to the game. But I realized that all those products were unnecessary. All I have, now, is LJOT, CC, and oil sheen. Also, I'm trying SeaSick.
You have to decide what products work best for you and then chill. Save your money because many products are basically the same, with a different fragrance. Remember that vigorous brushing is the key, not products.
I agree. No product you use will magically get you waves, not even a kit.
Brushing is what produces waves.
When your looking for you products heres some qualities you want in them you help you produce waves fast.
1.) I would reccommend a moisturizer/acativator/gel that will keep your hair moist and soft.
2.) Now that you added your moisturizer, it's time to lock it in with a pomade/cream or what ever you choose to lay your hair down. Laying your hair down is essential for training your hair to get waves and will help it keep from curling and sticking up.
When choosing a pomade/cream, I suggest something heavy when first strating off.
If your brusing you hair and it feels like the brush flows freely through your hair with little or no resistence, then either your hair is to short or you need a thicker pomade. The more resistence you feel when brushing the more you brushing is working to produce waves.
This is why lots of people in the wave game Wolf. The longer your hair is the more resistence you have when brushing.
Most people that use lighter products like CC, LJOT and other lighter creams and gels implemented wolfing into their methods to avoid the use of pomade.
* You can simulate wolfing by using thicker products in shorter hair.
