What do you mean when you say "spikes?" If we're talkin about the same thing then i hope that ur not black cuz it'll honestly look funny (I'm thinkin of the type of spike that teenage rockers wear).
Lol. I messed with spikes for a sec. Well, they are kinda like spikes but nothin like them Growin up Gotti fruitbaskets.

ya mane waves is what it iz, y0u can be professional with waves, and still keep it pimpn ya kn0w, braids and dreads are n0t a g00d l00k after high school life, and plus me b0ut t0 g0 in the miltary, i can still keep my waves spinnin hard

I don't get tired of waves, but I do get tired of wolfin...Or I get tired of my waves when I see a cat w/some thats better. I be like, "man FUK this, I gotta get to brushin" But everytime I see Snoop, or Krazy Bone w/their hair down, I miss my hair... The ladies use to jock my ish, especially when I had a pretty set of thin braids, layers, or my hair down and wrapped like a chicks....
