Ok.. thanks guys.  I was really scared there for a minute, please don't block meCry... I wouldn't have any sainty at all about my hair without the help of these boards. I say it again, y'all are great. Plus there are a lot of products for black hair that we Canadians, English, African etc etc people don't know about unless we come here because most of these products are only marketed and sold in the States. Angry Hmm, no miraculous results from the S****S****?(y'all know what I mean) I guess my Canadian a** is going to have to do with out for now... (aww).. what about this lacio lacio stuff?  How good is it when you are blowdrying and flatironing? Anywhere here use it? I read the review on BHM but that was about weaves. Does anyone use it on their natural hair? But I would still like to know if silicone from the health food store would be as beneficial to our hair rather than these man made products.

Anyone?

i read all of the positive reviews for this product and wondered myself if these reviews were authentic customer reviews or just some cheap marketing tactics. Anyhow, I requested samples, but of course I didn't see any miraculous results as claimed.

I think you have an excellent question because I've been wondering where you can get silicone too?

Girl you have nothing to explain.. The problem was that the folks at Simply Stankin' chose to use a less than honorable way to market their product by pretending to be members seeking help and advice in order to make false recommendations for their product. It's deceitful and too bad that they could not be upfront about their product instead of using false and misleading recommendations to push their product to the consumer..

There's LOT of great products out there from companies who will not use deceitful practices to get the word out.. You can start with this review if you like:

This is a GENUINE review by a REAL member, not a poser pretending to review a product.. HTH

No I am not new to this site, been visiting pretty regularly since 2005, I just don't post that often. And I must say thanks to this site and wonderful information gained from it and its users, I have come across a lot of information that has helped me on my hair journey. Now I actually believe that I will make it past shoulder length. Also, the information I get from here, I pass on to my friends and most of us are natural, shoulder to arm pit length and beyond, blow dry every few months, wear protective styles (didn't even know what that meant until I got in here) throughout the  year  and very happy with our hair. I heard about Sim*** Sty*** from this site and fgured that this would be the place to come for more info...but since that's not working out ---  can I go to a health food store and just by silicone to put in my hair? Would that work?
