I think she looks great!  I love the cut.  I actually like it a lot better than the longer layered style she had all last year.  This is cute and bouncy.  Love it! 

And I don't think that her arriving without Tony has any significance.  I think they were just mentioning that he wasn't there.

Thanks Jock...though I was aware that "sans" is French for "without" . I was only asking whether the fact that she was without her hubby was supposed to have any significance.

That's called the "newlywed chop"...my wife did it shortly before our wedding. I wonder about Eva though...it was chin length several months ago, so who knows what is real on her?

sans is just french for without.  I don't think it means anything.  When I saw her pic earlier, I thought she cut it also.  Maybe she cut it as many newly married women do.  My wife grew her hair long for our wedding, only to chop it off very short 3 weeks after the wedding!

As I remember, her hair was not particularly long in the first series...not much longer than this.

I don't know whether she is wearing extensions in the posted pictures or not.  I tend to think of extensions giving the illusion of length rather than volume although I do understand that women use them to do both.  I'm also not passing judgement on the use of extensions.  Whatever floats your boat.

I agree that it's far from being short but if they hadn't started taping "Desperate Housewives" yet, they will very soon.  She'll either have to go back to the extensions or weave a haircut into the story line.

Looks very far from being short to me. Given that she mostly uses extensions when she wants her hair to look super long, I'd say she could grow this out to what it was before in a couple of months: certainly before the next season of Desperate Housewives gets under way!.
