You used to have to get a prescription - now you can even order it over the net.

It is the first and still only product medically approved for hair regrowth. The generic for it is Minoxidil; it works for about 80% of all people (even more for women) in either regrowth or maintaining growth. If you stop using it you will revert to wherever you would be if you`d never used it.

It takes six months for a fair trial to see what it will do for you - although many people notice less shedding much sooner.

I use it and will probably use it until I`m too feeble to put it on...gabi

Hi.. I do use the Rogaine 5% every other day to help reduce hair loss, prevent thinning in the future, and it does seem to help my hair grow in thicker. I`ve read it helps your hair grow longer by lengthing it`s growing phase.
