The goals of my supplementation regimen are different than yours. No matter the diet, exercise, stress, and supplementation, I consistently get 5-6 inches of growth per year. My supplementation goals are to minimize hair fallout, and in November 2002 I had a breakthrough when I added Horsetail Herb (silica) to the mix. I purchase mine at GNC.
If your hair growth vitamins have worked for you in the past, I'd say try it again. I've heard that HairBoutique's Hairtopia is better than HF37.

I would like to know who has been taking HF37, Shen Min and Hair Topia for a long period of time (6 months or longer)? What are your results? I told HF37 for 8 months off and on and I got great results. Now I am taking them consistently. Has anyone tried taking a combination of HF37 and Shen Min or other hair vitamins? If so, please share your results. I am going to try a combination of HF37 and Shen Min to see if I get more rapid growth.
