Ok I have always had this problem with my waves slanting in the back. I have been looking at some of my pictures and noticed that my hair grows slanted in the back for some reason. No matter how much i constantly brush it straight down i still dont see any new results. Do yall have any idea on how I can fix this problem.
You can try brushing against the grain. When you do this it reverses the waves. I did that for a week with my right side, and when I started brushing back in my normal direction my connections were better.
Some might not agree with this. But don't knock it if you haven't done it.

cuttin below the wavelength doesnt do nothin. you cant see ya waves, but ya hair is still trianed in the sme direction, cuttin it short just makes it hard to brush

Don't keep your hair long, while combing and brushing alot. This is bad advice. Brushing and combing alot, while your hair is long is going to deepen your existing pattern. You'll essentially be wolfin. It is very difficult to change your wave pattern without getting scalped. I strongly recommend that you cut your hair below your mwl and start from scratch if you want to fix this problem. I wouldn't get a baldy, although you can. Just remember to cut your hair low enough below your mwl that you disrupt your base 360 wave pattern.

hmmm interesting. I seem to agree out of experience with both explanations. My back has the slant also, and I have scalped myself and brushed in what I thought to be good form and it came back, but also my top left has an imperfection that came after a scalp that wont go away which wasnt there before. interesting...

that kind of happened when i got semi scalpled and I made sure i was brushing straight down but they still are starting to form slanted
It sounds like you have hair grain and texture issues. I suggest that you cut your hair below your mwl and overcompensate your brushing motion in the opposite direction of the wave directional problem. For example, if your waves are tilting 45 degrees to the left, then brush 45 degrees to the right. This may neutralize the problematic wave pattern tilt.

If you don't get your hair cut below your mwl, you cannot correct this problem.

if it is or anything a little like it you should comb it out like an afro so it doesnt have the pattern and comb it back to normal or brush twice as much
that worked for me

I got this same problem too. I think it to late because my hair just grows in that same pattern whether I brush or not. I think its because I can't wolf long enough though.
