   What do you mean by permanent hair? There's no such thing unless you plan on getting hair implanted into your scalp. Now, I know of to methods that "claim" to be permanent, micropoint and microillusion. From what I can recall this is what micropoints are:
 The micropoint is synthetic hair attached to a little bead, a few strands of your natural hair are pulled through the bead and then clamped shut. The beads are not removed and is shed along with your natural hair.  That being said, if your hair is coming out in clumps I don't think you'll be able to wear most types of extensions including the ones above, you may want to try a lacefront wig.
