Many of the vendors listed in this thread sell very nice hand tied wefts/hair. Since your client's hair is thin, I would suggest micro wefts. Of the vendors in this post, these vendors carry micro hand tied wefts:

I wore pinch braids many years ago. In fact it was the first hair extension method I ever tried. Got to tell you I hated them. They were these big braids and you could totally see them. I had them done by Hair Police also and they are supossed to be these world reknown experts. They just didnt work for me and I dont recomend them on fine hair unless Im missing something here.
A sew in would be good for her. If she has very fine hair then I would recomend the Russian as it is a very small micro hand tied weft and soft silky fine textured hair but its big bucks.

I also have the same problem with the TT when I blowdry my hair. As for the hot flashes they do get less severe with time. I am going on 8 yrs. now with them. I have no problems with the tapes and LG installs.

Wow, those are some pretty hot flashes. I know if I use a blowdryer with was-based (ie Tiffany Twist) adhesive they all come out. If she's just wanting strands then a sew-in isn't an option...how about silicone lined microlinks or some pinch braids?
Hmm, I think blondes and even fine blondes can get away with sew ins. I don’t know how fine she is though on the sides and you might be right. I know the hand tied wefts are REALLY small and lay flat up against the scalp so they are pretty easy to conceal. I actually have found that the sew in has worked better for me as far as not showing in many different styles than bonds ever did. Bonds, at least in my case, always clumped up and could be seen if I tried to pin my hair up on the sides. A weft is just one flat strip. However, I’m brunette and the weft is black with dark string so it’s all camouflaged. It’s worth a shot doing a sew in on her and then remove it if she doesn’t like it.

I always use the same keratin glue and I've never had any problems with it.
I was thinking that a sewing would be the other option, but she has light blond hair at the front and sides of her head and dark hair (roughly number 10 in colour) around the back and middle.
Where her hair is thin I'm not sure it would cover any tracks or look very good due the the style she likes to wear her hair in.
It seems like a weave using string would work best because no glue to melt. However, if she sweats an awful lot, I dont know if that would cause problems as well with a sew in.
I exercise and get sweaty but so far it hasnt been a problem and i just shampoo really well once a week.
