KB, I think youre right about the highlights i didnt know that id have to bleach it! so damaging! my hair isnt the best shape as is anyway. i think ill just stick with my hair the way it is for now and maybe in the future ill get a style change. i like the idea of lightening it a little bit i think it will go better with my skin tone than completely blonde.
and chicklet, youre right about the hairstyle. it wasnt the fact that i thought she was "copying me" i was flattered actually. i got the idea just through looking at magazines and i liked one of the urban outfitters models' hair. so youre right i was inspired. its a very fashionable haircut right now and i guess i should just be happy that im in style. I just prefer to stand otu thats all. i suppose ill keep it for a while until i can find a hairstyle that i like more in a few months, i cant go without makeup with this color anyway. it makes me look too sallow!
Ok forst you already have your individuality because you are who you are.2nd i would'nt give a rats *** who had my same cut and color is going to look different on her than you anyway unless you look exactly alike (do you ?)I would not let something like that determine how i felt about something i liked until someone else liked it .I guess i think of it this way .Apparently this girl values and looks up to your taste cause she wants what you have (kinda like when everyone wanted the "rachel doo"from the show friends .) Like where did you get the idea for your present style ? Something inspired you right ? See your inspiring to someone it seems .I'd keep that cut and style you are satisfied with not change it because someone else likes it too .

Next time you go to the salon, why don't you ask for some blonde highlights? I think highlights would be better than going full blonde. First, you don't necessarily know that being blonde will suit you and second, with the auburn-ish hair color you have now, you will have to bleach your hair to get to blonde and that could be a tough process. Talk to your stylist and see what she recommends. It's best to start subtle first; see how you like it and take it from there.
Lately I've been having some hair drama and I'm just looking for some advice from anyone who might have experienced similar hair issues. I just got my hair cut layered just below the shoulders with long blunt bangs, and dyed it a deep chocolate brown. It was practially black. It was semi permanent and its been about a month since i did it. The color is fading to a dark auburn sort of color. I was satisfyed wth my hair color now, until a friend told me she was getting the same cut and color. I want my individuality! So I've been thinking of going blonde. My natural color is a medium to light brown with some blonde highlights (which seem to be peeking through various hair colors). I have dark eyebrows and im afariad of goign too blonde. Does anyone have any advice for going from looking like a boring brunette twin to a newly hot blonde?
