QuoteReplyTopic: My Fave Indian Virgin Hair Vendor on Ebay Posted: September 17 2007 at 11:16am
Good to know! I've ordered 2 lbs. on seperate occasions of virgin indian hair from a reputable comp. and I was disappointed because the bottom half of the hair was very dry, and one client ended up cutting off 6 or 7 inches of it. So now I'm a little weary....I've heard such good things about it but I was disappointed.
I just found out that this vendor (Audley) is a man! Oh dear! I've been referring to him as "she" - oops! Anyway, that's an update for all of you if you write to him.

Don't let the name of the store put you off though, the hair is top notch but she only sells dark hair due to the fact that it is virgin indian. I bought some in May - have used it for three installs and it is still GORGEOUS!!! I am really hard on my hair because I wash it almost every day (I have to because my own scalp is oily) and it stays absolutely gorgeous. I have discovered the wonder of Suave Sleek conditioner though - MY GOD that stuff is amazing. It is EXACTLY like the Matrix sleek line (it even smells the same!) and it smoothes out all the "poofiness" of the indian hair to make it tossled and amazing looking. All for $2 a bottle! Yay!
ANYWAY - I digress.....Her name is Audley and she is really sweet. I'm a bit of a germaphobe (well, more than a bit) and the first batch of hair I got had nits in it. I freaked out and sent her emails asking questions etc. She was very responsive, even refunded some of my money, called and yelled at her supplier and nursed me through frazzled nerves. I washed and kept the hair and I am so glad that I did because it is the best hair I have ever bought. PLUS it is SO INEXPENSIVE.
She only posts now and then, so you have to keep going back to check (I check once a week or so). She currently is selling 4oz of 22 inch Indian on a machine weft for $97. I just bought 8 oz from her. It is silky straight but the other silky I bought from her does have a natural wave when washed and matches my own her perfectly! She told me that this batch is from a new supplier and she visited the factory herself before taking him on as a supplier. I can't wait to install it. If it is anything like the other hair I have from her it will be amazing. PLUS her shipping fees are reasonable and she ships fast.
And No, I'm not affiliated with her AT ALL - I just got so sick of wasting money on CRAP hair and I'm so glad I've found a good source. Just passing along the lurve!!!!
I'm going to install next weekend and I'll post pics. I'm so looking forward to having 22" of gorgeous hair!!! Yay!!!!!!
Hi Cat,
Great info. Thank you so much.
A few questions....does she ever have blonde hair? I know you said she only sells Indian so it is dark but maybe she has other suppliers? And how do you do your install...tape, glue etc? Can't wait to see your install photos. The hair sounds divine. If she has light colors...I definitely want to check it out.

Oh yes - just the dead hatched egg shells. I was grossed out at first (imagine me leaping about the bathroom going Ewwww! Ewwww!!!) but they washed out and combed out easily. Like everyone said - not uncommon as the hair comes from poorer countries. In fact, I remember when this happened, Divavocals put my mind at rest with her fabulous nit facts!
Well I'm glad I could put your mind at ease girl!

OH! Sorry! When I thought about "virgin" I figured it was probabaly common. Yikes though (at least for me). I think I would be way to scared to order virgin hair now but then again, I'm scared of flys!

http://stores.ebay.com/Sundanceimport27 oh if anyone was wondering this is where i get mine... and 4 oz is an insane amount of hair.... I had EXTREMELY thick hair and used only 3 oz and had atleast 6 rows.... I thin my hair now and only use about 1.5 oz and 3 rows (really thin!!! lol). so I still have TONZ of hair left over.
I'm selfish, impatient, & a little insecure, I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times, hard to handle. But if you cant handle me at my worst, then you sure as HELL dont deserve me at my best
I get 4 oz. (6-feet wide) hair on e-bay for $60 (that includes shipping)... It's suppose to be indian remy... but who knows cuz some hairs are smoother backwards than they are fowards! But that could be that I've dyed the hair twice and the fact that I've used the hair over 6 months... I still wear that same set till this day!!! haha i am so cheap! but it still looks really nice :)

Ms. Honey - I keep the hair black (it is usually a 1B actually) because I dye my hair really dark.

the nits are the left over shells from which lice were hatched at one point. (Sounds gross I know, but its just a fact considering where some of the hair comes from) As Ms.Honey said its not uncommon to find them on virgin indian hair. As the consumer when we purchase hair that has went through being processed its not something we normally see. But when buying virgin indian hair, depending how well it has been cleaned, you may get hair that has a few nits that were missed or didnt get removed.
