I like it it,it's easy to use.Has a wide range of colors. Some hues are bold, wich is appealing to young women. The conditiner is great. If their is any drawback, is that it does not cover gray as well as other loreal products. It's very user friendly. It was the 1st hair color product i ever used on my wife when I began this hobby. I was a little afraid as a 1st time user however i got good results. It also gave me confidence since I did'nt ruin her hair.It would be my 1st choice for beginers. The web site is great and the toll free assitance is fair.Even though I use differnt products I have a warm spot for faria.
Hi, I've been using feria since July o4, started with a darker red, now lighter one. I haven't had problems with it. It is abit dring but the conditioner that come with it is really nice.
Has anyone used Feria haircolor by Loreal? If so, what is your opinion? I was reading on their website and it says that if you bleach your hair, you can use any Feria shade (and they highlight any). It is a level 3 permament haircolor, so I would think if you completely bleached out your hair, the blond shades would not do anything since this haircolor has peroxide in it. However, it is advertised as being gentle, so what do you think?
Dear Raquel, First off, I am 22 and LOVE FERIA. I have been using it for years now. Sadly they discontinued one of my favorite colors, but I still use it loyaly. I have tried SOOOOO many hair colors (I am a brunette, but I have been blonde for 7 years now,) and because of the hues that this company uses, the Blonde Shades are all different no matter if you are a blonde or not. The important this is to really think what you want...ash...golden...natural. Ash does not work for me because it has "cool" tones and thus gives me a "green" color (I am a warm tone) Golden colors give hints of red..and natural colors are just that...a combo of both, thus not producing any real "hint" of anything. Hope this helps..good luck!JB

I just used Feria yesterday. But I wasn`t doing anything drastic, I only tried to cover grays. But, I wanted something a little brighter than my normal L`oreal Creme. Feria claims to have more highlights. It does seem a little brighter & the highlights show through more than before. I can see how more people have problems with Feria because on their website they make it seem like you can use ANY color you like, but in reality the same rules apply as with other colors. (ex. if you have dark hair using really light shades will look odd) So maybe people get creative and risky!! As for your bleach question...I would search this board, (especially the Bloopers board) there is a lot of information to help you from the other posters!!

Hi Racquel.. I`ve never tried Feria myself, but the last time I was at a salon, the lady who was doing my hair said that Feria was the one hair coloring product that caused the most problems. She said that lots of their clients who tried it came in to get their color fixed or it really damaged their hair.
