First of all, these extensions are SO NOT made for african american woman because the hair is bone straight and doesn't have any kinkyness to it. Which is fine, but there isn't even an option of that kind of hair for 'us'.
Actually I have the same problem and I'm white. My hair is frizzy/wavy/curly.
I agree with you that black people have been wearing extensions long before it became a fade and while it was still considered "taboo". With that said, I know wigs were very common and then not. So it goes in cycles.
As for the Jessica Simpson Hair-Do, I think it's a well constructed piece if you have hair suitable to match. It's not your average pack of clip ins. If I were to buy it I would opt for the human hair since I've seen the synthetic and it appears to tangle a lot.
Thanks for the review. Jessica's clip ins are overpriced. If you want clip ins it's best to make your own, as I do. That way I can control the hair type and thickness.
Well Well Well, it has been awhile since I posted. I MUST let you ladies know of my experience with the Hair Do' clip-in extensions by Jessica Simpson. You know the ones, on the commercials and ads, even on the front page of this website.
First of all, these extensions are SO NOT made for african american woman because the hair is bone straight and doesn't have any kinkyness to it. Which is fine, but there isn't even an option of that kind of hair for 'us'. I think that is a little selfish, seeing as how the weave and extension industry profits a lot and probably the most from black woman. However, the rise in other woman wearing weaves and extensions is a new phase that is becoming very popular.
The hair was way too long, for me anyway, it was almost to the bottom of my back and looked to 'weavy'. We all try to conceal or make the fact that our store bought hair is less obvious, so this one is just not it.
In conclusion, if you want to pay $100 dollars for easy clip ins, you may want to find ones that aren't overrated by the hype of celebrity.
