Problem Storing Hair Color

hey donna, where do you go to get the schwartzkoph?  around here you have to be a pro to get it....wish it was not that way....i really like their products....rebekah is right...tube color you can use as you go....liquid not so...i don't think you would have to use a color remover since you are going black.  using color remover is usually when color comes out too dark or if you hate the color.  good luck donna....yes, just go purchase more and make sure it is nice and fresh when you apply to your hair.

I've recently been trying to dye my hair black. I initially bought a semi-permanent but it didn't work terribly well so i decided to use permanent (Schwarzkopf Live Deep Black XXL). I mixed the product and applied it to a few sections of my hair to test the results. It appeared to work well so i stored the mixture overnight in a cupboard in a sealed bottle and applied it to the rest of my hair the next day. The mixture was now black in the bottle, rather than brown like it was when i initially mixed it, and it hasn't worked. It seems to have had no effect other than perhaps to have removed some of the semi-permanent color that was left in there. My hair is now a mix of black and something approximately resembling my natural color (dark blonde/light brown).
