It starts working immediately, (you can tell with some kinds of it because it starts going through its color changes right away).  Don't store it in the mixed state, it probably won't work after about 45 minutes.

How long does it take hair color to activate once mixed?

How long does the color for application last and what is the best way to keep it if you made too much or does it get old fast?

Thank you for any help... I can't seem to find that info yet.Embarrassed
