I had the exact same problem. I ordered some hair but then changed my my hair colour to #3 - #4 so I dyed my d-lux hair with the same dye I used on my own head, and it's absolutely fine.
I haven't put it in yet but at the moment it's the exact same quality as it was to begin with.

I dyed my d-lux clips in to match my hair. It worked and the hair looks great. I dyed it and just washed it with normal shampoo.

Posted this in my other post about extension hair but figured i might get more response here.

Has anyone successfully coloured D-LUX hair? im looking at dying it dark (about a 3) and with redken eq shades so it matches my dyed hair perfectly.

My main concern with dying extension hair is the amount the hair has been treated. I know that if the hair is coated with any kind of silicone type product then the colour is never quite as dark as its supposed to be (this happened with my own natural hair).

I was thinking if i did colour it then id just wash the hair with a clarifying shampoo several times before i coloured it to get rid of any silicone. Do you think this would work?
