Dunno if your comment was directed to my previous commentary on Luxury Locs, but let me repeat AGAIN what I have said "my experience (with Luxury Locs) wasn't that bad, but it was bad enough to turn me off from buying (from them) again.. The hair went to good use.. I gave it to a friend of mine.."

I don't need OR WANT my money back..  The hair went to good use..

Thanks for your suggestion to check out another vendor, but I'm straight... thank you very much.. I will mostly be sticking with my three core vendors. (Extensions Plus, Wagmans, and Indians Hairs/RK Hair Products) I will NOT be buying from
XXXXXXXXX. I am not interested in XXXXXXXXX because YOU seem to be a representative from this company masquerading as a member of this forum.. (I am basing my conclusion from your five posts which ALL manage to sound like and AD for this company..) No offense, but I prefer to avoid doing business with  companies who engage in these kinds of guerrilla type marketing practices...

The place that I buy my hair weave from is hisandhers.com.  It is a little expensive, but last for 3 months.

I have to stick with my first comment.. It's probably the products you are using which is causing "the greasy shine" you describe.  Some oil products will make any hair look "greasy and flat". You might want to look at some different products to care for your hair.. Try washing the hair and starting over..

Could be the products you are using on the hair.. Hard to give an answer unless we know what you are using on the hair..

Based on all the reviews, I would say you are one of a very few who were satisfied with this vendors products.. Like I said already, my experience wasn't that bad, but it was bad enough to turn me off from buying again.. The hair went to good use.. I gave it to a friend of mine..

However as I stated, many others have had VERY bad experiences buying from Luxury Locs.. Here is one of MANY threads on BHM regarding this vendor.. this one is the most comprehensive of the many threads: BEWARE OF LUXURYLOCS.COM

I use MilkyWay and it is THE BEST! I have been wearing weaves for almost 5 years now and have tried all kinds of brands. This one is it! I have had this same MilkyWay weave for the past 4 months, going on 5.

I dunno why you had so many problems.Confused Maybe you washed it too often or used too much grease on the scalp that made it slip out? I only wash once every 3-4 weeks or so and use no grease between washings. I really have to say it is the most natural feeling, soft, easy hair I have ever used.

If Halley's has it in stock, you will get the hair by your appt.. Did you inquire when you placed your order when you can expect the hair to be shipped?? This way you can get an idea when it will arrive..

Hello,

I used to go to B&V and Ester's wigs but I was having the same problems with the hair as you. I found a hair store in Spring Valley (which is a haul) the hair is rather expensive but it lasts for about a year. I don't remember the name of the store off hand but I am going there tomorrow and I will let you know. Star

Thank you so much for taking the time to post those links for me.  I am telling you, you have saved my pocket book from luxurylocs.  I however have to find some good hair and have it delivered to me before 12/7.

One more question your radio is that 7 pm EST?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo LUXURY LOCS!!! I will not share my experience (which wasn't that bad, but enough to turn me off from buying again..) But many others I trust have had VERY bad experiences buying from Luxury Locs..

IMO, what kind of hair to get depends on how willing are you to spend a little more than what you pay in the BSS for better hair that not only lasts through your install, but is reusable for SEVERAL installs, and maybe even SEVERAL years.. Please go to my fotki (http://public/fotki.com/divavocals) and go to my website (link in my profile and siggy.. The Fotki has pics of some of the hair I've used so you can see some of the brands available to you.. The website has lots of tips and links to weave care information.

At the end of the day no one can really tell you which hair you should buy.. We can share recommended vendors, but which one depends on your budget, and personal preferences/personal style. You will have to do a little research on your own, but here's a list of vendors to get you started.

WOW... that is not good.  Things happen for a reason, because I tried to order the hair and I was having problems with their website.

Thank you so much for your help.
