Should I still grow it long?

I like bouffy hair on guys but you have to consider what sort of environment you are currently operating in. Are you young and still in school? if so, you are probably at the only period in your life when you will be able to have long hair without jeopardizing your career progression and having people looking at you funny. So, if you can, go for it and see how it progresses.

Hey, I`m a guy, and I have just decided to grow my hair long, the only thing is, my hair has recently thickened up a bit, and is getting a bit `bouffy`, plus I think it`s starting to curl a little. Would it still be a good idea for me to grow my hair? Also, how long would it have to be before it actually looked decent?
