Some girls use fabric softner on their synth. You can try it on a practice piece to see if you lke it.

i wear lots of synth ponytails. when i feel they're looking a little dull, or after washing i like to spray on beyond the zone flasher techno shine spray. it's mostly cyclomethicone and trimethicone.
are there other products to sort of detangle and keep synth from becoming too piecey?
