As a parent of a teenager, I can tell you that if your parents have an objection to long hair, you probably can`t do much about growing it long until you reach an age where you can move out and support yourself. Let it grow for awhile and see what the length is that they begin to object to. See if you can keep it just above that length for awhile.

Ok, I`ve been thinking of growing my hair out, but recently my mum has been bugging me about getting a haircut (she doesn`t know that I want to grow it, I recon she`d flip). So my question is, how to I get my hair to actually look reasonable and `not too girlish` while growing my hair, and thus prevent parental objection?
